After just over an hour, Halleux finally gave in and shoved with pocket deuces into the king-eight of Dominique Potenza. Potenza hit a king on the flop to eliminate Halleux from the tournament and deliver a Unibet Open package worth €2,000 to Dupont. Dominique Potenza Eliminated in 3rd Place. Dominique Potenza shoved all in from the button and Samir Akhoullou quickly folded his small blind. Christophe De Meulder asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Potenza had 2,375,000 in front of him.

The popularity of poker is shining in Europe at the moment with the ongoing World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) series taking place in Rozvadov. The autumn edition of WSOPC is lined up with a variety of events attracting poker fanatics from various nations. Recently, the Mini Main Event saw Neuville Pierre claiming top honours on Day 2 at the King’s Casino.
The Day 1F of the Mini Main Event €500,000 GTD saw a total number of 884 entries (including 204 re-entries) registering for a buy-in of €250. As the tournament progressed, only 107 players survived to head into Day 2 of the event. Ivan Curic bagged 13,19,000 chips after topping the massive field. Other notable players include Michal Bartisz Janicki with 1209000 chips, Terenzio Ciafardo with 1163000 chips, Milad Oghabian with 1156000 chips and so on.
Dominique Potenza emerged as the chip leader claiming Day 1G of the Mini Main Event. The Belgian topped a field of another 641 entries (including 176 re-entries). With an impressive number of participants, only 77 survived to move forward. Potenza’s was last recorded to have finished 9th in 2019 €110 Saturday Night Turbo, German Pokerclub Championships, Rozvadov.
Day 2 registered another 337 unique players who entered for a buy-in of €250. Amassing the largest stack of the day was Belgium’s PierreNeuville with 1809000 chips. Pierre is a well-known player in the poker circuit sitting in 2nd position in Belgium’s All-Time money list with a massive total earning of $4.75 million. The new 76-year-old player, of course, is most famous for his deep finish in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event where he finished in 7th place for an impressive $1.2 million payday.
