Playing the Game
Crown Craps Rules Game
Craps is played with two dice and there is a large betting table. There are different rounds to the game. Players will start by placing their bet in the table and with the first round, the Come Out Roll is created. If this roll results in a 2, 3 or a 12, a Craps is rolled and Pass Line Bets will lose. If players have been on the Don’t Pass Line, there is a push. If the Come Out Roll reveals 4 through 10, a marker is placed in the number, which then becomes the point. In order for the Pass Line bet to collect payouts, the point number must be rolled.
If any other number is rolled or if the dice result in a 7, the game will continue. In addition to the Pass Line and Don’t Pass, there are many other bets that can be placed, such as those on specific numbers. At this point, A Don’t Pass bet will win should the roll result in a 7, but the Pass Line bet will be lost.
When all rounds are done, the winnings bets are paid and all losses are collected. Pass Line and Don’t Pass bets will collect even money payouts.
Popular Craps Bets and Payouts
There are many different bets that can be placed when playing this exciting casino game and it may take a while for players to master these. This is why the majority of new players will keep it simple and bet in the Pass or Don’t Pass options.
There is also the ability place bets called Buying the Odds. When a point number is rolled, players will have the option to bet on odds by multiplying the Pass Line bet by three. These are additional bets that predict that the point number will be rolled before a seven is rolled. Since there is a 50% chance of the point being rolled prior to a 7, the player will win more than the bet amount should this happen.
Come and Don’t Come bets are also quite popular. With a Come bet, players will bet after a point is established in the game. The Come bet will make the next roll a Come Out Roll and will pay on any 7 or 11 and will lose if the dice show 2, 3 or 12. This bet will also set a new Come Point and should that number be rolled prior to a 7, the bet will win. The Don’t Come bet is the exact opposite and if the dice show a 2 or 3, even money is paid. A roll of 12 results in a tie and bets will be lost if a 7 or 11 is rolled.
