First New Employee Marks The Beginning Of Job Recruitment Drive

PENTICTON, BC, February 8, 2017 – The new Cascades Casino in Penticton construction is well underway and is kicking off a recruitment drive to find a new team of talented and enthusiastic to operate the brand-new 45,000 sq. foot entertainment destination. The new Cascades Casino Penticton will feature a spectacular gaming floor with exciting entertainment and multiple dining and culinary options to suit any taste; including their signature restaurant – Match Eatery & Public House, which will feature the first rooftop patio and a full-service Buffet.

Cascades Casino has announced the hiring of its first new employee. Nathan L’Heureux has accepted the role of Human Resources Generalist. He holds an HR Management Diploma from Palliser Campus of Saskatchewan Polytechnic and is currently working towards obtaining his professional certification (CPHR). L’Heureux will be responsible for the recruitment of close to 150 new employees that will join the existing 150 staff members to operate the new location.

“I am excited to be a part of such a strong team that will be instrumental in delivering the highest level of customer service to our guests,” said Nathan L’Heureux.

To prepare for the Grand Opening this spring, Gateway is ready to begin the hiring process in Penticton. The first priority is to create a strong team to manage the new food & beverage offerings including Food & Beverage Manager, Match Manager, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, Chef de Partie. Hospitality and gaming staff are also needed.

Cascades will host a large-scale job fair on Thursday, February 16th, at the Penticton Lakeside Resort’s ballroom. An afternoon session will run from 1pm to 4pm and an evening session from 6pm to 9pm. No pre-registration is required.
